Insertion Module

Site Specific Installation

Insertion Module is a structure that is specifically designed for the parts of the architecture that have been left as negative spaces; in this case, the space under a staircase of a warehouse. By matching the façade of the building's color and texture, Insertion Module is completely camouflaged, laying dormant, until it is taken out and transformed into a tea-house. Insertion Module attempts to shift our relationship to our environment and make new publics throughout the city.
